Dustin Pedroia Hall of Fame
Rules:
1) Voting begins when I post the updated ballot. I will try to post the ballot each year as early each season as possible. Voting will end after the current regular season is complete.
2) Each Owner can vote for up to 5 players per year.
3) To be inducted, a player must receive 2/3 of the league votes and be in the top 5 vote getters of that year. This will effectively create a maximum of 5 players inducted each year, to ensure that only the best of the best get in. A minimum of 8 teams must vote. Please take the time to vote for each Hall of Fame class.
4) I will nominate players for the Hall of Fame each year. Write-in votes are welcome, and if you feel anybody was overlooked for nomination, let me know and I'll get them on the next ballot. Nominations will be generally based on the guidelines below:
Pitchers
Must have either reached 200 wins, 300 saves or won a Cy Young or Fireman Award or appeared in 5 All Star Games
Hitters
Must have at least one of: 2,000 hits, 300 homers, 1,200 RBI, 350 SB or a career OPS above .825 or have won an MVP or started 5 All Star games.
League Leaders (single season and career) will also be considered.
Players receiving 0-2 votes may be removed from the ballot the following year at my discretion. Players receiving 3 or more votes will remain on the ballot the following year.
The Hall of Fame is one of my favorite things about Sim Dynasty. I think it adds a lot to the league, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
