Holy Schnike!

August 30, 2011 at 09:14PM View BBCode

Just when you thought it couldn't get any closer, now all 4 team are within 2 games of one another.

I keep wondering when my guys will wilt but so far, they've adjusted well to the climate ad small crowds in Minnesota. The nest week sould REALLY be interesting.

It's wild. There are three weeks left in the season and HALF THE LEAGUE is still in playoff contention!! The race in the AL is super tight, but there are also four teams in the NL within four games of a playoff spot.

These last couple of weeks are gonna be crazy!

Good luck to all.

Its funny, it seems like every september Chicago and I have played a very meaningful series and luckily i have swept every time. But hang in there Tpaynter, your in the thick of things. I honestly would rather face Minnesota or Detroit if i am fortunate enough to hold up the lead. But my prediction is that you and I will square away in October and retouch our rivalry from the late 70's.

This race is getting nerve wrecking! It's anybody's division.

The fans in Detroit and Chicago will be rooting hard for their teams (and for Boston) during the final series of the regular season.

Chicago has a chance to win 95+ games for three consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance. We didn't play well down the stretch (again), but still have a remote chance of sneaking in. However, we are only 3-6 in Detroit and Boston is only 3-6 in Washington, so the odds aren't great.
