You'll notice whenever a trade is completed that there is now a trade number in the news. If you believe this trade is abusive, click on Help, then Report Trade Abuse and enter the trade number. The first time a trade gets a negative vote, it will auto-post in your league board. The 3rd time it gets a negative vote, it will again post in your league board and also auto-post on a new message board where an expert can give his opinion. Active abuse reports waiting on your vote will be posted on the home page.
There is a statute of limitations on a trade. The trade will be considered final and unreversable if any of these conditions are met:
- *96 hours have passed since the trade was completed without 1 negative vote.
- *72 hours have passed since the first negative vote without getting 2 more negative votes.
Initiating an abuse report requires that a specific reason for the protest be provided to Admin. If the trade goes to a vote, Admin may review these. Anyone found to be abusing the protest process may have his ability to protest trades removed.
Once a league is actively voting on a trade, they will have *72 hours to vote from the time the 3rd negative vote was received to vote on the trade.
A script will run periodically to see if the voting has concluded. *66% of the voters need to vote to overturn to reverse a trade. The vote will conclude if any of the following conditions are met:
- *72 hours have passed since the 3rd negative vote
- There are enough negative votes to put the matter out of question
- There are enough positive votes to put the matter out of question
You can't vote on your own trade.
An owner can change his vote on a trade; this is usually because new information comes to light, such as coaching points are involved or after a third party analysis the owner no longer believes that a trade should be overturned.
Although we hope that few will ever need to report a trade, once a trade is reported, it is important for as many people in the league to vote on the trade as possible. Votes to allow the trade to stand are essential to prevent the process from being abused.
Items with an asterisk (*) can be tailored to an individual leagues tastes. These are the default settings which will be used in all Dynasty Leagues and Trial Leagues. If a Speed league wishes to use different settings, have your commish contact Admin via Support.
