It seems to me that this feature could be added in the same drop down menu as the sort by all, current, or retired players. Being able to sort the alltime leaders by position would help a lot when considering players for the HOF.October 22, 2011 at 02:54PM View BBCode
this is something that has been brought up before, with good response. if i remember correctly, the difficulty is that ABE doesn't track stats by position played, so he would go by position on the card. and if a guy was a 10-year 2B who happen to play the last 3 years of his career in LF, he'll i think then show up as a LF, which isn't what we want.October 23, 2011 at 02:50AM View BBCode
ok thanks. There is no way to write a code that once a player retires his player card shows the position he played most? This would solve the problem.October 23, 2011 at 05:12AM View BBCode
it would. my understanding from previous converations is that it wouldn't be as easy as we would think. bu ti;m not by any stretch a programmer, so i would'nt know.October 27, 2011 at 04:30AM View BBCode
sorting stats in general good use a face lift. try differentiating SP's from RP's in the HOF... pitchers win-loss-saves are all lumped togther!Pages: 1
