this one had promise for 1950 , but no farther as the original owner drafted his pitching too old.
anyway, the team was off to a decent start despite having default preferences and the default batting line-up.....
C at C
C at 1B
1B at 2B
1B at 3B
2B at SS
2B at LF
3B at CF
3B at RF
i set up my tried and true preferences the same as all of my other teams and put in the best batting line-up possible and what happens?
the team flat out sux now.
gee, i LOVE ABE SOOOOOOO much.

With the exception of your catcher, your offense is pretty much doing what they should.
Your hitting will improve over the next two years, but your pitching will deteriote thanks to having three SPs who are 34+. It's hard to imagine this team contending in any of the three years.

It's extremely simple--ABE is screwing with your pitchers. They are beyond awful. You've got an A-/A- starter with a 6.75 ERA and a B+/A- one at 6.44. When your #2 and #3 starters are that bad, you're in trouble. Then there's the fact that your bullpen only has one guy with an ERA under 5.50. Ouch.With the exception of your catcher, your offense is pretty much doing what they should.
