Game entertainment

This may be just too hard but I would love to see what my players are doing. Just reading the formation, play by play for the quarterback and the end result doesn't give me much to coach on.

Can we get those numbers on the field to move according to the play so I can see who is doing their jobs correctly? How my
QB got sacked, if an interseption was oppertunity or failure, and if my running back knows how to find the whole or is imagining one up my O-linemens arse?

I just answered the "movement" question in another thread; in a nutshell I said it couldn't be done, and then figured out a way it might be done. :)

As far as interceptions, the wording of the play gives you an idea if it was an opportunity or a failure. Similarly, "blindside sack" indicates a specific failure of the LT. Places where similar plays are worded differently aren't random, they have specific meanings.

Just wanted to update this post to bring it up for future thought with the new engine you are working on.

The movement of the numbers would increase the play entertainment and greatly increase the player evaluation.

Maybe we could get some comic style flash wording across the screen also.

i.e. Fumble, Interception, Completion, First Down, Touchdown, It's Good, No Good, Sack, Safety.

Reading play by play is great and all for information. I would like to sometimes be able to get lost in the actual game though.
