However, one of the more balanced and unpredictable showdowns have come when facing the Chicago Catch. These two franchises have met 9 times in the ALCS with NY holding the edge winning 5 of them. If you take a look at how these two teams fared when facing each other, it couldn?t be more balanced. NY and CHA split their 24 meetings this season winning 12 a piece and the combined score in the 24 games was 88-88.
Although it?s a tough challenge that lays ahead for the New Yorkers, the Salseros have won the last 3 ALCS meetings with the Catch and hope to make it 4 as they defend their World Series Title.
