Jones's debut, against the hard-hitting Tempers, was impressive, and he was in line for the win until closer Pat Mateo fell apart with one out to go. Against the Blues he was even more impressive. He finished off the game; eleven of his last twelve outs were strikeouts, most of them either flailing at his 58-foot splitter or barely flinching as a 96 MPH fastball crossed the plate.Said Jones, "It was all Will-Will.
