Track Successful Stretching+Add to Dynasty Vision

I love the idea of the new stretching feature, but the fact is that the settings are impossible to figure out how effectively they are being used. As it stands right now (to my knowledge) stretching is only acknowledged when it is unsuccessful, and it is done so with a note in the dynasty vision that goes something like the following:

Inning: 7 Toronto
Kirk Patrick singles.
Jeff Hudson doubles to the right fielder.
Kirk Patrick is thrown out at the plate by the right fielder.

I suggest that there are three outcomes in the dynasty vision for this situation:

Outcome 1: Player scores without it being a stretching situation.(Basically, the player would have scored under the previous system)
Kirk Patrick singles.
Jeff Hudson doubles to the right fielder.
Kirk Patrick scores (standing).

The corollary to this, on plays where bases are advanced would look like:
Kirk Patrick advances to third on the hit (standing).
I personally don't think that "standing" would need to be noted on doubles/triples that occur without stretching.

Outcome 2: Player scores because of a successful stretch.
Kirk Patrick singles.
Jeff Hudson doubles to the right fielder.
Kirk Patrick scores (sliding).

And the corollary:
Kirk Patrick doubles to the right fielder (sliding).

The wording could be changed above maybe:
Kirk Patrick scores (beats the throw).
Kirk Patrick scores (under the tag).
And if you wanted to get really fancy just for scoring plays:
Kirk Patrick scores (collision at the plate).

Outcome 3: Player is thrown out because of an unsuccessful stretch.
Kirk Patrick singles.
Jeff Hudson doubles to the right fielder.
Kirk Patrick is thrown out at the plate by the right fielder.

My other big suggestion is that this is then tracked. Why not use a system similar to the +/- for fielding? Call it BR(+/-) short for Base Running plus minus, and give +1 for a successful stretch and -1 for an unsuccessful stretch. Then players can evaluate their preferences and tweak as necessary.

i really like most of what you say, i'm just not sure about the tracking part, that might make it a little too easy on us.

I wonder if cutoff men are getting credit for assists on the long throws.

actually, i think maybe the best way to do it might just be to make it like the sacrifice flies.

John doubles to left. Phil advances to third, and attempts to stretch it to home.

Phil is out at the plate. (Or Phil scores.)

somethin like that

I agree. But to be honest, even adding this to dynasty vision won't help me any. I'm not going to watch and record a large enough sample size to be able to set accurate preferences. Without actually having data I'm pretty much going to just ignore this whole addition.
