Congratulations to homegrown John Powell, who collected his 3,000 hit on 9/30. A lifetime Storm, he is just a few steals away from becoming the 8th member of the 400/400 club.
He is still the only player to start at 1B for the NL All-Star team since 1997.

I would certainly state Top 2. Then it becomes, who do you like more - John Powell, or Mark Mahler?

I would agree. Though, he shares my heart with Carl Crowell...and current Manager, Fred Johnson.
