Manager says , "Gaylen is a power-hitting 3B basemen and we feel he can give us some production when he's in the lineup. We can't expect him to be Jethroe but we feel he can perform well in our lineup on a consistent basis. He definitely has the tools to be a productive player in this league."

3B Gaylen Eldred was called up today to replace star 3B Jethroe, who will be injured and likely to missed the postseason.Manager says , "Gaylen is a power-hitting 3B basemen and we feel he can give us some production when he's in the lineup. We can't expect him to be Jethroe but we feel he can perform well in our lineup on a consistent basis. He definitely has the tools to be a productive player in this league."
