Wow...the AL race has been great this year. One series left in the season and there are 3 teams within 2 games of one another. And all 3 have won 100+ games.

I went back and looked at the league history to see if any other 100 win teams had missed the playoffs. It's happened a handful of times, but has been pretty rare.
