I just noticed that the sim waived my 2nd-round pick to free space, then picked up 3 guys off waivers for me.
I don't remember a requirement that you have to have 45 players. Is that new? I never encountered it before, and I had no idea that rule existed.

So, what happened??? I had 43 active uninjured players.

From the rules:You are not required to keep a full roster; however, a team must have at least 24 uninjured active players at the beginning of each game. Players will automatically be moved from inactive to active and/or picked up from waivers if necessary to comply with the 24-player minimum.
So, what happened??? I had 43 active uninjured players.

It did change, but we would need to go back through the message boards. I posted something a while back because I was over the cap and the system auto-waived. Then, because I was under the roster minimum, FABE drafted back players--including some he had just waived.It changed, Chris told us, I don't remember exactly when.

I figured it wasn't just a glitch, but it sure messed me up. Ought to update that rulebook ... Thanks.

You are not required to keep a full roster; however, a team must have at least 40 active players at the beginning of each game. Players will automatically be moved from inactive to active and/or picked up from waivers if necessary to comply with the 40-player minimum. In addition, you must have at least 45 players total between your active and inactive rosters at the beginning of each game. If you are over the cap but under the roster limit, some higher-paid players may be waived to make cap room, and then additional players will be automatically claimed from the wire to reach the minimum.

Thank you, this is fixed. The section now reads:You are not required to keep a full roster; however, a team must have at least 40 active players at the beginning of each game. In addition, you must have at least 45 players total between your active and inactive rosters at the beginning of each game. If you are over the cap but under the roster limit, some higher-paid players may be waived to make cap room, and then additional players will be automatically claimed from the wire to reach the minimum.

In addition to the rulebook change, it really needs a warning on the roster page.Chris
