If there is a player who you think merits consideration who retired during the 1950s that I overlooked, please add their name, a link to their player card, and any other supporting information to this thread.
The deadline for nominating additional players is midnight Friday.
Please note that we are not voting on these players until the list is finalized. I plan on opening up voting in a separate thread on Saturday morning. But feel free to peruse the list and get your ballots ready for later in the week!
Please note that these players are nominees only. To each his own, but I certainly won't be casting yes votes in favor of all of these candidates when the balloting is open. But do keep in mind that since the league only started in 1950, all of these players had shortened careers, which is why they generally don't rank on any of the all-time leader boards for the JEL anymore.
