FG error in BPL

Week12: Philadelphia at Atlanta. Atlanta blocked a FG and Philadelphia recovered the ball at the Atlanta 25. The sim gave Philly a first down. This is an error...if the blocked kick doesn't cross the line of scrimmage the kicking team can recover and advance the ball but the ball was recovered down field. So the answer is "maybe"; the sim ideally should specify where the first touch occurred.

The game treats it as if the block happened past the line of scrimmage: the kicking team can recover the ball but can't advance it. In the 2012 rulebook it states that it is always first and ten at that point; in the 2011 rules it simply says it's the kicking team's ball. If the block was behind the line but the ball moved past the line, then it is the defense's ball even if the kicking team recovers.So the answer is "maybe"; the sim ideally should specify where the first touch occurred.
