so here's my proposal: add a do not autodrop box to the inactive roster. AFE can then select anyone he wants who isn't on that list and i could leave the offers outstanding without risking the loss of someone i'd like to keep.

it's week 4 of the preseason, which means it's cut down time. right now i'm two guys over the roster limit. i've currently got a couple of trade offers out but right now don't know if either or both will or won't be accepted. if they aren't i'd need to drop two guys to cut down. but if they are, i'm down to the roster limit with no issues. so the problem is this: i have no idea when the other owners will be online so if those offers are still outstanding by tonight when i'm on i need to either pull the offers and drop two other guys or gamble on them being accepted and leave the roster at 55. if i do the second though, and they aren't accepted by the time week 1 starts, AFE will auto-waive two guys off my inactive list. i've got a few guys on that list i'm not worried about losing but i also have a few guys i don't want to lose and since i don't value players in the traditional way, i don't truse AFE to drop the right guys.so here's my proposal: add a do not autodrop box to the inactive roster. I had resisted doing anything like that because my usual answer is to just drop the ones you are willing to let go, but a situation like this is a good argument for having the ability to protect players from being dropped, or at least be able to preview what players are the ones that will be dropped.Chris
