In my Premium League, there's only one TE getting strong numbers, http://football.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=1516313
in the 4th-ranked passing attack.
I have this guy in a freebie league, http://football.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=2032186
but there's only one TE actually playing the position, http://football.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=2032265
and not being shoehorned in as a SR or other Wide position.
I don't think the TE should be played as a primary check-down, unless the RB has awful hands. With the screens out of control, the Wides running all over the field basically uncovered, there seems to be no REASON for the Sim engine to involve the TE.
Which is frustrating to me, as a good TE with high Catch, high Speed/Agility should be terrorizing the Short and Medium yardage grounds.
So, what those here who have TE success do to get more passes to them?

I've had a couple of TE's whose catching attributes were as good or better than most of my wr's so I just plugged them into one of the wr roles on the depth chart. Worked like a charm, producing numbers that put them in the top 5-10 in receptions for the league. The problem with this of course is they were playing out of position and doesn't really address what you're talking about- where a TE playing TE with those kind of skills aren't really living up to what we'd expect them to. Where are the Davis's and Clarks?

I followed casper's lead in my premium league with my TE. Drafted him 2nd overall, and pretty much made him into a WR. He's done pretty well so far. I did a Play Action Pass Offense for 3-4 seaons. My TE was 76+ Catches in those 3 seaons.Pages: 1
