Why is Tampa good????

If you look at that team on paper they are not impressive. What gives? How do you minipulate the SIM?

BabyDoc, through the immense power of his mind, is able to use quantum tunneling to manipulate the code-bits that are his players, thus causing them to perform beyond their programmed limits.

Actually, his team just hits the crap out of the ball and scores loads of runs. More runs than your team = more wins than your team. Usually.

I think there are a lot of factors in this game as to why teams do well and don't. Nothing is exact but you learn that certain combinations and good settings with lesser talent can still be very successful.

chemla- you ignore hitting.

yes, you need good pitching but IMO the starting lineup, which influences hitting and fielding, is more important.

while drafting I first target pitching but thats because its tough getting into position to draft top pitching
and, pitching is very valuable in trades.

however, my best teams always have a stacked starting 8
