Well, Philly and now Cleveland have joined the ranks of has been cities that have featured prominent GGL Franchises. After a bitter battle over titles, banners, MVP awards, etc, ABE has awarded Oakland the former Gnats/Ballbusters/Curve Franchise along with what looks like most of the titles and accolades. Congratulations and welcome to our newest owner.Now the world will find out if Oakland is indeed an upgrade from Cleveland. Wait... Don't answer that.

There has never been - as far as I can tell - a franchise in Oakland here in the Goose Goslin League. Up until now, Kansas City was as far west as any AL team traveled.We are delighted that we can now catch some rays, enjoy the surf, and play some new golf courses on the travel days we arrive early.

Nope. It's only the second move in the entire history of the GGL. When I first arrived here we couldn't transfer teams. But seriously, we've grown to like our neighbors in Brooklyn.
