Ever knock yourself out with a drill? I almost did.

I had the worst 24 hours ever today. Last night my room mate who doesnt do (explicit) came home drunk on a Sunday night and woke me up (I work at 6am) and starts wrestling with me. I try to throw his ass against the wall in hopes he'll pass out on the way down but just by chance my foot slips off the bed and I fall on a glass that just happened to be there and of course it breaks and cuts a 5 inch cut in my side. My friend of course thinks this is funny and I end up getting no sleep.
Now I have a deadline of Tuesday so I have to get my project done today no matter what. Everything goes fine until me and 9 other engineers decide to play bball on our lunch break. I pull a Jordan down the lane only to get Shaq'd and bust my eye open. I finally get back and guys in the shop messed up my part so I go to just build it myself. As I'm almost done I'm going to mount my part to the bracket I made with a power drill. Of course I tap the bracket and not the part (backwards) and turn the speed up all the way. The screw goes through the bracket fine but when it hits the part with no threads it locks up and there I am with the trigger all the way down and my head 1 foot from the drill trying to concentrate with one eye. The drill locks up, spins at 100 mph, flies out of my hand, and clocks me in the noodle, knocking me to the floor.
As I'm laying there about fighting consiousness, holding my head in pain moaning, I contemplate whether to even get up at all. 5 minutes later I'm able to and I end up putting 12 1/2 hours of work in before I can finally come home and have a dinner of Aleve and Ibprofein, washed down with a beer or three. Holy crap...
