missed play-offs???

Can someone explain to me how I missed the play-offs? The way I see it there were 4 teams with identical 42-39 records. The Spiders, Gigalos, and Wildcats had a playoff which gave them their final records. Gigalos went 2-0, Spiders went 1-1 and the Wildcats went 0-2. Even if I dont make the Playoff, I should have gotten in due to a better win % than the Spiders. Just a little confused!:puzzled:

Yeah, I'm not sure how that works. I didn't look it up but is based on head to head win percentage? Sucks either way.

Congrats to New York for taking the series and representing the National League so well! Congrats to Chicago as well for a great season and making it to the series to represent the American League!
