FRL Hall of Fame Rules

Eligibility
1. To be eligible for the hall of fame, a player must have had a minimum 10 year major league career (this requirement is waived for players that were in the league's inaugural season).
2. Player's that have failed to be inducted by the Hall of Fame committee in the past are not eligible. Please note that players who were nominated but failed to be inducted prior to the creation of the HOF Committee (July of 2025) can be re-considered for nomination.
Nominations
1. Any active FRL owner can submit a player's name for consideration to a current member (or members) of the Hall of Fame Committe, who will then decide whether or not that player should be nominated. Owners are encouraged to send a U2U, with a link to the player's card, to any of the Hall of Fame Committee members and/or the league commissioner.
2. Nominations from committee members are due by May 31st each season. Nominations will be posted in a single thread by the HOF Commish on the league message board by July 1st.
Voting
1. U2U messages listing all nominated players will be sent to all FRL Hall of Fame Committee members by July 4th.
2. Voting for nominated players is to completed by August 21st of each season.
Induction
1. In order to be inducted into the hall of fame, a player must receive the following number of votes (based on the current number of HOF Committee members):
6 members = 4 votes
7 members = 5 votes
8 members = 6 votes
10 members = 7 votes
2. Players who fail to get the necessary number of votes, but receive at least 2 votes will remain in the ballot for up to 2 additional sim years.
