I'm in two 32 team leagues and I'm really sick of counting what pick I have in the "draft order" tab - is there any way you can just throw the pick number next to the team name? It would really help when I'm ranking players. Thanks for your help!

I know someone has a format to process that, but when I tried it I was even more confused, haha, but all-in-all I agree.

Also, with the draft if the admin could add a feature to sort of specific positions (which I believe DD inquired in a different post) cause it's annoying having to click for example, Throwing Power just to see any QB's, etc...

I also can't wait for a full league schedule everyone can view instead of going from team to team.

Defensive stats like tackles, double-team tackles/sacks, defensive/offensive audibles, team captains, maybe also add to each individual player a football IQ to either their attribute section or player card -- for example: QB with a high IQ has an easier advantage of reading the field/defense, making audibles when needed, ability to make hot routes and which could also apply for the defense as well.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or even noticed, but remove conditioning to be an automatic skill instead of having to sacrifice players being able to improve in specific areas due to conditioning being the major skill trained in to just simply avoid injuries.

Possible probowl? Owners vote on specific positions and players of their choice -- with no injuries on since it'd be just one game of watching the best players for fun?

Hodor's logos; helmets/uniforms! :D

More coaching strategy options/play calling (most likely mentioned in other threads), etc..etc..

Just a list of ideas from my own thought process and which I've read and agreed on. It's possible the Admin is already aware of some of this stuff, but just voicing my opinions.

Lots of good things in this thread...

Is this all you are looking for? http://footballbeta.simdynasty.com/draft_pick.jsp?lid=15

Using the NFL as an example, is there a site with a schedule format that you like as an example?

The point of having to train Conditioning is part of the choices you have to make to support players with poor Attitudes, or in overplaying certain WR's and RB's. If your players have decent Attitudes you shouldn't have to regularly put them on Conditioning drills, they should average 95% at game time. If you put your players on Conditioning, you are improving your chances of winning the next game at the cost of long-term development. If we make Conditioning training automatic and separate, there is no point in having it at all.

maybe also add to each individual player a football IQ to either their attribute section or player card

This is one of the things Execution represents.

Hodor's logos; helmets/uniforms!

I love Hodor's logos. The logos are the oldest part of the game; they were done back in 2003 when I first started laying the groundwork for the sim. Unfortunately, they look it, too. they are designed at much too low of a resolution, and the process of generating them is too cumbersome. I need to redesign how the logo system works and how they are generated (and redraw every single one of the old logos in the new system) before I can add any more. Once I do we should have much better looking helmets and more colors than the 20 colors now available, and when that time comes hopefully Hodor will be willing to donate some designs to the effort, and I may be able to support some form of custom logos as well like the baseball sim does (although the custom logo option is barely known there).

Defensive stats like tackles... more strategy options/play calling

These require an upgrade to the underlying engine, which I am currently designing.

Not the graphic part, but the schedule itself.
click on "week 16 schedule" and check what games will be played that week in the whole league.

Right now the way to do it, is go team by team to check their own schedules.

(we tried for a couple of seasons to "advertise" the big game of each week as "MNF" -among other things-, but the first problem was that we needed to create the whole schedule ourselves).

Also, let me know about those helmets; and if you could include custom unis to the custom helmets, even better.

Cheers.

So really if the Scoreboard page (http://football.simdynasty.com/scoreboard.jsp) could show future weeks, it would do the job? That should be easily doable.

Okay, this is what the scoreboard will look like for a game in the future.

What an upgrade that would be!

Also, is there anyway to possibly add something that shows the teams current ranking of Off/Def? Something like you would see in lets say... "Madden".. Overall ranking, example (using from the above scoreboard -- these are random numbers not accurate to the teams): Green Bay Bulldogs (63 or B) vs New York Hunters (59 or B-)?

Just a thought to run by.

The scoreboard does look pretty sweet though!

I';d originally planned on doing it that way but decided to use stats rather than ratings. I may go back and add ratings at some point though, once I think of a good formula to rate an entire offense and defense.

When can we expect some of these changes or for beta to take effect?

Finishing testing on them now. If all goes well they may go in tonight.
