Payment system updates

I have finally updated the payment system so I no longer have to manually update everyone's subscription information.

This isn't something easy to test in Beta, of course, since we aren't paying for teams here. Although I am going to have to set up "subscriptions" for everyone once I have the system start enforcing expiration dates.

Anyway, for those of you with paid teams, please take a moment to look at your Renewal page on the main site (you may have to refresh if Renewal isn't a menu option) and make sure the system is updating your subscription information properly. This is especially true for the few people who had their subscriptions moved from one league to another.

Things to look out for would be not showing as having an active subscription when you know you do, expiration date in the far past and/or far future, or of course error messages.

it seems to be working for me, and I had a subscription moved. on the other hand, the list of teams that would usually pop out of the 'my team' section of that menu now shows up under 'team sign up' instead.

The menu issue should be fixed now; if you don't see the fix you may need to refresh the page or dump your cache.

As I continue work on this system, you may see warnings on your Beta teams that your subscription may be cancelled or overdue; feel free to ignore these unless you actually lose access to your Beta team for some reason.

I have a banner on my team page that says I'm 5147 days late on my payment (that's 14 years:spin: ). The date on the renewal page is 1/1/2000.

The check is in the mail! Honest!:P

I don't have any premium football teams so maybe that has something to do with it.

Everyone is getting that message now because no one in Beta has a subscription to Beta (except myself and a couple of the User# accounts).

I will clear it soon.

In the JBFL I get a notice saying I haven't paid since 09/16/2012. Not sure how to respond?

Apparently the subscription was cancelled on Oct 24, 2012 but since I was updating the payment systems manually I missed it and never notified you. Take a look at your PayPal subscriptions page; if you see an active subscription for the JBFL that for some reason I'm not picking up, please drop me a note in Support and we'll figure it out.
