Clearly ABE does not want me anywhere near the playoffs.

The Knights Templar were catching fire just at the right time, pulling to within a few games of Tampa Bay. They had a series at home vs. the worst team in the EML, the Washington Storm. Hopes were high that Minnesota could go on a nice run and perhaps catch Tampa Bay...then disaster strikes! Newly acquired bullpen ace, Pete Selkirk gets smacked around by the worst offense in the league, taking the loss in both of the first 2 games! Then the best hitter on the team, Jeff Sumner, goes down with an injury in game 2. Minnesota then manages pulls out game 3 behind Norm Holland's 20th victory of the season, only to find out after the game that Holland will miss the rest of the season with major arm trouble!Clearly ABE does not want me anywhere near the playoffs.
