Whe asked about the hitting streak Daddie replied, "We'll, I'm the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result your gonna get!"
When reminded by the reporter that he plays first base in baseball, Daddie replied, "ah, yes...the streak means nothing if we don't reach the World Series. That's what we play for. And if you like your health insurance, you can keep it...period."
