an option for leagues to add variety to the initial decline age, so that everyone doesn't just improve every year until 34.
I'd like it mainly in salary leagues, in conjunction with a change to the Length of Contract Adjustment - if a player might start declining at 31, he wouldn't be so smart to sign all those 1-year contracts - but I think it would be cool in all leagues, really.

I like it, I don't play in any var dev leagues, but I see the value in it. It should curb the addiction to draft picks that some managers have.
