with the following setting: "When a PH or PR comes into the game, leave him in unless there is a player on the bench that is Much Better defensively"
I quickly realized this was a very good setting, as it will often call your best batter off the bench to bat for one of your weaker starters. The problem comes up when you have your backup catcher starting the game.
I found my CF coming into the game to bat for my second catcher, and then staying in to catch the remainder of the game, as my #1 catcher was too fatigued to play.
Now I think the setting that allows you to put your best batter in a PH situation regardless of who he's replacing is great, but there should be an additional setting, to ensure that if we bring a PH into the game who cannot be a defensive replacement that there is a defensive replacement on the bench.
