For options, we treat them like players drafted in 1950. They run out of options when they reach 27 years old.
Looking at the code, 29 year olds are always free agents regardless of option years. So I suspect most of the foreign players would only be on the drafting team for 1 season.
Should we eliminate these players from the Salary leagues all-together? Or do you guys want to keep them?

Or if the foreign players had a contract built into the player card so whenever you draft them you basically absorb that contract?

I'd like to keep them but would prefer it if they were auto-signed to a 3 year deal or something instead of just a 1 and done.Or if the foreign players had a contract built into the player card so whenever you draft them you basically absorb that contract?

Unfortunately I don't think we can add in those special rules very easily. I think our best bet is to leave them out going forward.Tyson

I agree with Bo. I realize that there are some complications, but it is a great addition to the game. I like the change and adding foreign players to the draft will add another strategy option to building a contending team. I hate to see it not added to the KBL just because we are a salary league.

Well if they are free agents after 1 year then at least keep them in the draft. It'll add more talent to the league and at least the drafting owner gets a year of that player or a decent trade chip.Pages: 1
