Most Unlikely Series Ever?

Today, just out of curiousity, I wanted to check out how the AL's Top team in my Single Season league (John McGraw), the Cleveland Chaos was doing. I had never really checked out anyone else's results but my own.
Anyways, I saw they were playing the league's worst team the New York NIKERBOCKERS. At the start the day, the Chaos were 79-44, the NIKEBOCKERS were 42-81. New York was one of those abandoned teams where the catcher always leads off, 1st base #2, etc.
I noticed that amazingly, the Chaos had dropped the first two games, 9-5 and 7-6 respectively. Game #2 saw the league's top pitcher and #1 draft pick, at 11-1, drop to 11-2 and not make it out of the 5th inning.
Game #3, was ridiculous. The Chaos took an early 2-0 lead, only to extend it to 4-0 in the 6th. New York cut inot the lead in the 7th, 4-2. In the 8th, starter pitcher Jim Schesler, 3-17 on the year with a 4.80+ ERA was called upon to keep it close. He did. The bottom of the NIKEBOCKER order was due up in the 8th and with two outs, a wild pitcher made it 4-3. With one on, ridiculously, Jim Schesler was going to hit for himself. Keep in mind he was 4-for-45 on the year.
Bang. Schesler goes deep! 5-4 New York! Schesler closes it out. A sweep for cellar-dwelling New York
