So I missed 2007, a year were we went 88-74, 4th place, 3 games out of a playoff spot.McCormick won a career high 19 games, threw a career high 262 IP, and struck out a career high, league leading, TEX single season record 241 K's.

On 6/10/07, we completed a blockbuster deal, giving up OF Pete Coleman, a first round pick, and 3 mid level prospects for Walter Phillips, at that point the best player in the league. He struggled in the second half of the season with us, but still had a league leading 128 RBI.

On 8/15/07, we traded 3rd and 4th round picks for 2 time Cy Young winner Law Garcia. He led the league with 21 victories.

McNulty tied for the league lead with 9 CGs and set a career high with 219 K's.

Reginald "Bubbles" Cousins threw a career high 8 CGs and 259 IP. He struck out a career high 14 batters against Seattle at home on 9/26/07, throwing a complete game with 6 H, 2 BB, and 2 ER.

D'Angelo Barksdale led the league in BB for the third time, with 93. He also hit a career high 25 HR in the lead off spot. Career high in SLG -.488 and OPS - .875, earning him his first AS Start. (Second overall)

Bell hit a career high 6 triples, and was a +11, with just 5 errors, for a great .991 FLD %, earning his second GG.

We picked up "Niko" off waivers on 4/29/07, and he had a great comeback in the Bombers uniform at age 37, OS 38. Hit .303/.359/.490/.849 with 11 doubles, 12 HR and 40 RBI, in 261 ABs over 83 games, 65 at second base.

Reilly hit 34 doubles, 26 HR, 102 RBi, and made his first All Star Start (3rd overall)
