I think it would be useful if when looking at player skill rankings and a sorting by a particular column, that the players show in order from best to worst. At present, all players with the same letter grade appear alphabetically.

That's deliberate so you can't find out who's best or worst in a skill by sorting on the column.

I thought that may be the case. I would prefer to know who is really better but it is not a big deal

I think we all would. back in the day you could do that on the baseball side. admin decided that they wanted to have more uncertainty involved in player ranking decisions. while I'd prefer to know, I do see their point. and the numbers options do exist for those who prefer absolute certainty.

This is also the reason that improvements are not exactly a full point, it keeps you from counting improvements to know the exact rating.

You can sort of determine who the best is for your own players by looking at their drills. This is of course imperfect, as a player with no rating changes will vary slightly from week to week on his drills (no one runs the 40 in the exact same time every time), and the drills reflect a number of ratings; for example, the 40 speed is a combination of speed (for max speed), agility (for acceleration), execution (for time off the line), and the 100 adds stamina (for the length of time max speed can be maintained).This is also the reason that improvements are not exactly a full point, it keeps you from counting improvements to know the exact rating.
