Junky McDaniel Jr got his 3000th hit today. Another milestone in a great career. Current GM and all time fan favorite Junky McDaniel Sr noted his son's hit, a bloop single to center, was fitting. When asked, Jr said he planned to play a few more seasons as the GM is loose with the owners checkbook and his 'Bobby Bonilla' lifetime services contract already kicked in. Not much else to celebrate in Motor City but the gleem is still rich on our 4 trophies. And Junky be RICH!
