Red Day has just completed his 12th major league season for the Basilisks without ever missing a game. He has started in LF for all 162 regular season games for 12 straight seasons, plus 14 playoff games last season and a 1 game playoff this season for a total streak of 1959 games.
He won Rookie of the Year, 9 golden gloves and was on 8 all star teams. Last season he played in his first post season and went 4/5 with 4 RIBs to lead his team to a WS victory in the 7th game.
Now at age 36, his skills have declined for the past two seasons, and the end of this streak may be near.

It would be cool to see if he can break Ripken's record!

THE RECORD HAS ENDED!!!!
Red Day missed game 132 on 8/28/2206.
Not a bad run of 2075 consecutive games.
Only Cal Ripken (2632) and Lou Gehrig (2130) played in more games in real MLB.
Too bad ABE does not keep consecutive games played stats.
