Do We All Got Small Nuts was the heart of what off topic is about. talking about nothing for as long as possible. Closing it just proves your lack of a soul or morals. i hope you burn in hell for all eternity.July 11, 2004 at 01:06PM View BBCode
Feh, I'll be able to sleep soundly knowing that the thread is gone...July 11, 2004 at 01:20PM View BBCode
well then you have either no soul, no brain, or no heart. YOUR A NON BELIEVER!!!!!! GET HIM!!!July 11, 2004 at 01:21PM View BBCode
It's true, I sold my soul for a ticket to see "Daredevil" and it was worth it!July 11, 2004 at 01:24PM View BBCode
the post was funny but it needed to die. Do you want it to continue past it's time completely ruining it's glory(I'm looking at you The Simpsons)?July 11, 2004 at 01:25PM View BBCode
True, the Simps need to close shop, some episodes from the last season were just uncomfortably embarrassing...July 11, 2004 at 08:01PM View BBCode
the simpsons is still way better than 90% of the shows on tv. just because its past its prime doesnt mean it should stop.July 11, 2004 at 08:47PM View BBCode
it isn't past it's prime. It was past it's prime like 7 years ago. Right now it's just dying. The new seasons are embarrassing for what was once a great show. It is still better than a lot of shows on TV but it's nowhere near what it used to be. It needs to end before people begin to remember it by the later seasonsJuly 11, 2004 at 09:04PM View BBCode
it is better than whatever crap would replace it, so it should stay. it does not matter at all "how good it used to be" for whether or not it should continue to be made, it only amtters how good it still is.July 12, 2004 at 01:30AM View BBCode
It's still better than most other shows because we can see it's better moments in our head when we watch new episodes and we always give the show the benefit of the doubt, but it really is running on fumes...July 12, 2004 at 02:02AM View BBCode
They would not have to put a new show on in its place. They could just put on reruns of its glory years and people would certainly tune in.July 12, 2004 at 02:12AM View BBCode
It's only a matter of time before the Simpson's runs out of credibility and people start viewing it as a horrible show. It once had greatness, now it doesn't. The worst part is they are not only ruining these current seasons, they're ruining the reputation of the show altogether, so when people see the early episodes they'll still think they sucked. It's only a matter of time.July 12, 2004 at 02:36AM View BBCode
Indeed, last year was the first time in the shows' run that I can remember that not a single episode all season was memorable, and it's worse this time around....July 12, 2004 at 05:13AM View BBCode
no way, Simpsons rock. Hmmm, should I watch everybody loves Raymond, some dumb reality show that ends up being way more embarrasing than any cartoon could or.......the simpsons. easy call. or I could not watch t.v and come feed my new SD addiction:cool2:July 12, 2004 at 06:46AM View BBCode

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Who Shot Mr. Burns should have been the end of the Simpsons. It was a great way to go out and the show was never the same after that. Andrew, season 4 was really good. I liked Season 2 better but that's just personal preference, 4 is still great.July 12, 2004 at 12:54PM View BBCode
End with Who Shot Mr. Burns???????????????????July 12, 2004 at 02:51PM View BBCode

I think with it being a cartoon, it can return to its heyday, or at least it is more possible than if it were a show featuring actors and such. But I don't see that happening, it really isn't as good as it once was. They somehow got the idea that featuring non-relevant guest stars and trying to emulate south park was the way to go, and it might boost ratings short-term, but long term it kills the show.July 12, 2004 at 03:46PM View BBCode
yea i heard that they are hiring a lot of new actors and trying to get new characters like south park did. but lets see how that works out for them. theres really only so many things that you can do to keep a show from biting the dust. too bad it had to happen to simpsons. lets hope they can fight their way back to the top.Pages: 1 2
