Here comes the typical slide

The last few years I have started out hot then had a terrible cold streak and eventually plateaued...or I started cold then had a hot streak then scraped by at the end. I have a strange feeling that this year is a repeat of the former.

I have to get my draft picks to perform. They sometimes dont

That was happening to me last year, I started super hot for a few months, then I slid for awhile to make interesting, and then finished hot going away. That was the first year I remember not plateauing to the end.

gotta just be patient and keep an eye on their improvements..a lot of comp in the AL right now just gotta wait for the teams to fall off (i dont have much mileage left unless i make a trade or two).
worst comes to worst, in the future you can snag one or two "vet" rookies who are in the draft class as high a-'s or an A

bird...sometimes the rebuild can be grueling. check out my owner card for my team here. there are multiple stretches of 5-6-7 years of terrible placement.

But if you do it right, you should be able to enjoy several years of having a good team on the field.

Patience is the key. It has been a long time since I have seen my team playing well. It took almost 10 years to go from good draft picks to finally seeing results on the field. The hardest part is waiting for those young players to actually start putting up decent numbers in the majors.But if you do it right, you should be able to enjoy several years of having a good team on the field.

Collapse on the way for LA? 6 game lead for second place is gone in 15 games and still slipping. Hopefully the slide is only temporary and we can give Baltimore and Boston a good run for the playoff spot.

I feel your pain 4&6 today slight lead over Houston Made the trade and losses in his debut oh well!!! Here to getting of the slide of hell!!!

On my 11th year of rebuild. The first 3-4 years I got rid of picks Only 5-6 solid picks developed in those 11 years and traded one for 5 future draft picks. This wil be the 3rd year in a row i have 50 wins and one year i had 49

The losing is OK but 2 12 game losing streaks this year stink.

I agree, those B+ players older than OS28 aren't going to help unless they're red number mentors, or a rare late developer

I agree, those B+ players older than OS28 aren't going to help unless they're red number mentors, or a rare late developer
