Quirky trade...not a dispute

Trade #1260686 has been completed between the Montreal Canucks and the Colorado Rockies. The Colorado Rockies receive Pete Donahue from the Montreal Canucks in exchange for Draft Pick - 2064 Round 2 (COL).

How does one trade a draft pick after the draft has taken place? Or am I missing something here?

That's bizarre... I'm surprised ABE didn't automatically cancel that trade offer when the draft ran
