Can Bobby Hoyt hold onto the MVP?

Might win it on a 100 loss team. Im thinking hes going to finish second if LAA finishes 1st in the standings...but either way, crazy year for him. Possibility of 30/30..AVG around .370..220 hits (about 40 more than 2nd place), 2nd in runs, 1st in OPS.

Probably not once all the MVP modifiers kick in at the end of the season, but that's incredible!

yeah thats what im thinking too..

his last game since the post:

3/5 1 home run, 1 triple 2 runs scored. he now has his 30/30 season. wouldve made all star team last year too but had a big injury.

i should note..the fact hes only 1 back of Sprowl in runs and has over 100 RBIs on such a terrible team makes it even more impressive. if i had played the somewhat decent vets more his stats would have been outrageous

went 2-4 in the last game of the season. led in OBP/SLG/OPS/AVG by 20 pts or higher in each category. led league in triples. 2nd highest single season mark for hits in league history..HIGHEST AVG IN LEAGUE HISTORY...by 6 pts too :o

Great season by Hoyt. He blew away the single season batting average record. An epic season.

More than 40 points higher in AVG than the next best hitter!!

Six points higher than the NGL single-season AVG record in 115 seasons of play!!

That is incredible.

As the shortstop, my money is on Garcia. But LA didn't take the AL crown, so who knows!
