Draft review.

Dallas had a very good draft overall. Give the draft a B+.

1st- T Dwight Lefear- A stud RT that gives the team two outstanding young tackles. This position is set for 10 seasons
2nd Blaine Feggins- A very good run stopping sure tackling LB. Wish he was a little stronger. Will either start weakside or be the first linebacker off the bench.
3rd LB Herbie Criswell- A very solid linebacker with strength. Team is now stacked at linebacker
4th DT Bill Green- will be in a 3 man rotation at the DT spot. Good value for a 4th rounder
5th cb Gary Plummer- Good coverage and speed and agility. Poor tackler but will make the 45 man roster as the 3rd or 4th corner. Happy to get a contributer in the 5th round
6th- FS Marc Slater-not sure how this guy fell to the 6th round. He has good coverage, pursuit and speed skills. Will be a starter in the next couple of seasons
7th - DT Gary Kristufek- will make the practice squad. Not sure if he will improve enough to on the roster but does have good tackling and strength stats.

Buffalo had an ok draft. Give it a C-.

with the lucky 13th pick.....G Red Robinson. Rated 3rd overall best player. Workout warrior. Strong as an ox.

DT Bobby Keuchenberg..... backup for depth purposes but fills a need.

WR Dwight Dempsey drafted with 77th overall pick. Good value backup.

RT Randy Mattos Good backup player who needs some work.

Finally WR Walt Davis average backup for good depth.
