Arizona's Ernie Jenkins tied the league record for homers in a season with 46.

Speaking of HR records Oscar Madison is 4th all time, 37 short of the record. I don't see him breaking it unless he has two seasons in him. He should surpass the RBI mark needing only 44 more.
We really need to get the HOF back up and running. So many great players over the past 30 seasons of play.

Wanted Kramden to win his first MVP but Jenkins deserved it. Amazing season with the 46 HR's and the incredible .351 avg.Speaking of HR records Oscar Madison is 4th all time, 37 short of the record.
