Why is this change being made?
We have had instances where an owner has traded Coach Points for seasons they have not yet paid for, and then chosen not to renew. The incoming owner, having not been party to those trades, has not been required to comply with those trades.
What about Subscription leagues?
Coach Point trades in Subscription leagues are regulated by the Commish of those leagues. If a league does not have a rule specifically allowing longer Coach Point trades, then Coach Point trades are limited to the current season.
I already have a multi-season deal... what happens to it?
Existing CP trades are not affected by this change.
Where are the rules for CP Trades?
The rules have been in the [url=http://rules.simdynasty.com/index.php/Site_Rules]Site Rules[/url]; however, to make them more explicit, a [url=http://rules.simdynasty.com/index.php/Coach_Point_Trades]new rule page just for Coach Point Trades[/url] has been created.
As always, it is important to note that Coach Point trades are completed at your own risk, and the site administrators will only offer limited support and assistance. It is recommended that you only make these trades with owners you know and trust.

Starting with the season beginning in July 2015, Coach Point trades beyond the currently active season are not permitted in Dynasty leagues or in Subscription/Term leagues without a specific rule to the contrary.Why is this change being made?
