Seattle Foghorn fans have been coming out to games with the very environmentally friendly but literally industructible reusable shopping bags that are given out by such companies as Whole Foods, Lululemon, and Safeway. It's a throwback on the old paper bag heads that the NY Mets fans used to wear. Another stinky season in Seattle, kelpheads washing ashore up and down the shoreline, the aroma filling the sea salty air. Benivedes isn't looking like the superman of last season, the rest of the pitching has been lacklustre, and the outfield cannot produce. Worst of all, are the reports out of the minors where IC conversions have been few and far between. We need new minor league coaches. I think it's time to bring in the "Vault" as player development along with hall of famer Lonnie Hiller!October 22, 2015 at 04:01PM View BBCode
In related news, while the total number of corpses has yet to be determined (it's estimated to be in the tens), bodies are being found in the shadow of Mt. Rainier accounting for 90% of the Seattle Foghorn fanbase, all appearing to be dead of suffocation. Investigators have not yet determined the root cause of the mass (well... mass-ish) dead total, although the principal focus seems to be suicide born of despair, and possibly stupidity. In related news, Rance Mulliniks was picked up for loitering in the parking lot of Foghorn stadium cap in hand looking for another live soul to give him a job. The bag over Rance's head (mercifully for him) had a hole in the top where the pointy end of the old Rancevision glasses had perforated and thereby saved his life, but perhaps not his IQ.October 23, 2015 at 02:56AM View BBCode
Was Rance still managing our club? I don't remember who it is. I'm sure he's almost dead now. I'm having the injury bug strike fear into more fans and I'm not talking about those 10'er so fans who's self inflicted injuries drew bugs... I'm talking about the plague that has all but tarnished Steve Kraut's career. Something like 120 days lost to injury for the young catcher to date, if this was a sawmill, they'd have shut us down for too many industrial injuries.October 23, 2015 at 03:02AM View BBCode
Addiction can be tough thing to shake. Maybe Mr. Kraut can get accepted into the Fluffy Logan Rehab Center?October 23, 2015 at 04:32PM View BBCode
Ah the FLRC, I think our team is part sponser and possibly owner in that facility. I'm fairly certain that Cy Newcombe and Harry Trouppe are there along with Dadi Bako who's substance abuse made him a career under achiever in Seattle.Pages: 1
