Will anyone (who voted against System 5 or didn't vote) feel this is grounds to leave the league or will all current owners agree to remain? If no one objects within this thread within a week then I feel it is appropriate at that time to make the request to Admin.

I am hoping, since we have agreed by majority vote, to ask Admin to place us under System 5, effective next year.Will anyone (who voted against System 5 or didn't vote) feel this is grounds to leave the league or will all current owners agree to remain? Kaliayev made the suggestion that I contact Admin about what it would take to change to System 5, so I listed a question in the Support thread. Ideally, we will have an answer soon.

Here is the Rule Book description of the Subscription leagues:
Subscription and Term Leagues
You can also join Subscription and Term (formerly known as Private) Leagues; these are similar to Dynasty Leagues but with a few changes. These leagues typically play more than 3 games per day. These are customized leagues that have may different rules of play than the Dynasty Leagues. Each League also has a Commish, or commissioner, whose role is to ensure fair play among the owners and to ensure the well-being of the league. Commissioners should be experienced Sim Dynasty players.
The difference between Subscription and Term leagues is how they are paid for: Subscription leagues require a monthly subscription via PayPal, and Term leagues are paid for in 8-month blocks.
For more information about pay leagues, or to be notified when there are openings in pay leagues, please visit the Pay League information page.

I would really like to see this change, but I can understand if people don?t want to move to a different payment system. If we don?t replace these Dynastybot owners and we lose another owner or two. It?s not going to be fun.

I was looking at the link earlier this morning and it looks like we could keep it at 3 games per day which would keep all the other rules the same. I tried to do some numbers and it looks like a month to month subscription league would cost $63 a year, and our league costs anywhere from 54.50 to $65.70 a year depending on how many seasons you buy at a time. Feel free to double check me.I would really like to see this change, but I can understand if people don?t want to move to a different payment system. If we don?t replace these Dynastybot owners and we lose another owner or two. It?s not going to be fun.

I'm ok with moving to a subscription league. Also, I would prefer to keep it to 3 games a day if possible.

I support the majority. Subscription fine if preferred by group. I would be able to keep up with 3 gms/day but not more. Thanks.

Sounds like we will need everyone returning to be on board with this, so I suggest if there is someone not in favor of it and wants to stay in this league, speak up and we will end this talk for now.

I feel the same. After reviewing things, a subscription league is fine. 3 games/day. I guess we need to send out a league wide message so everyone gets and email about this? If owners still refuse to respond, then do we just assume they don?t care if we change to a subscription league?

How about a final poll re changing to Subscription League? If we're unanimous, be it 14 owners or 10, then let's roll. I'd say at that point we've done everything we can to engage each owner.

I'm not sure with everyone else, but the vibe I'm getting is keep it at 3 games/day. That's certainly what I'm for.Pages: 1
