Tampa picked up a big win over LA enabling Tampa to maintain a share of first place.

Anaheim pounced on a half dozen Texas pitchers for eight runs on 11 hits. Nap Carter went the distance for Anaheim for the third consecutive starting pitcher to pitch 9 innings and overall starters have worked worked 35 innings over the last four games.
The Angels had 11 hits and 8 runs. Brooks Lowry had 2 hits , 3 RBI, Walt Harlow, 2 hits and louie Johnson was 2 for 2.
Anaheim and Tampa stay tied for first for one more day.
