Interested to see a ruling on this one. He came in with the score tied, but it was not an official game so he should have gotten the Win, wouldn't you think? Do the "offical game" rules become moot when the starter leaves the game? Gotta love baseball. Always something you've never seen before.[Edited on 5-20-2016 by smann]

They had the lead when he came in. Bottom of the 5th. Very interesting. Since the starter was already gone the reliever before got the win. I know there is a requirement of innings for the starter to get the win. I have never noticed this before about relief pitchers getting declared the winner without pitching in the 5th or later.Pages: 1
