AL Wild Card

July 14, 2016 at 02:25AM View BBCode

Toronto is bowing out of the race for the AL wild card, clear that there are two teams who are decidedly better this season. Best of luck to Seattle and Boston.

May be willing to trade a vet or two to the NL depending on the offer for those looking to make a deal ahead of the playoff push.

Don't shut that door yet, barometric pressure is rising, the fog is thinning, and we are having trouble in this series with Boston

Chicago imploding.... 7 game losing streak, 3-11 last 14 games. Boston closing in on Seattle,, and Toronto killin it after the big trade. AL just got a whole lot more interesting.

Toronto's 8 game win streak is as much an aberration as your 8 game losing streak. A regression toward the mean is all but certain. Toronto's rotation is very young and will need another offseason or two to catch up to the bats.

I suppose it is early enough for 1st place to be in play again, but this should only be a three horse race for the playoffs.

Toronto's in full development mode with all the kids playing to maximize ICs the rest of the season. Hell, the #1 SP is B overall.

and then there were 2... both leagues are wrapped up for playoff spots, good luck to those who will be competing!

Boston and Toronto will be much closer to the top of the AL next season.

The fog is getting denser... no slight on current management intended.
