Apparently he was tipping his pitches. After he got the hook and the Irish no longer knew what was coming they fell in to a famine couldn't muster another run.

Is it Irish aren't welcome in Toronto or is it Torontonians aren't welcome in Boston?
Either way I think there could be a devil in the kitchen and the irish lads are going to be gettin' stinkered! We could use Corked on this one, I think Devil and Irish yield Newfoundlanders!

the Devils take games 2 & 3 to make it interesting, but then the wheels came off in games 4 & 5 at home, both extra inning losses

heading back to Boston down 2 games to 3, needing a Bill Buckner type of miracle to force a game 7

meanwhile Milwaukee Seal'd their WS trip up with 4 straight victories in the NLCS

Shippin' up to Boston, with the devil on my shoulder!
Muskies made cured meat out of the seals, that will cure the bay area problem. That would have to be a fatty meat, can you eat seal?

Boston bullpen was roasted in hell by the Devils in game 6 to force a winner take all game 7.

The Irish will no doubt be on hand with Whiskey (bootlegged of course) and other prominent bathtub spirits. This one is apt to turn violent. If Boston doesn't win I'm fearing a ruckus emerging out of the rightfield corner similar to the ill fated old Scandal Park of the PWL. If Boston wins, there may well still be a ruckus in the rightfield corner creating the need for repairs before the World Series can resume.

It reminds me a lot of the Presidential run, if Hillary wins my neighbours are doomed, if Trump wins, my neighbours are doomed. Best of luck on both accounts Super Tuesday is almost here!

Ach. Very close series the first 3 games, with Milwaukee widening their advantage in games 4 & 5. My boys (literally) are young and might be expected to be happy with a first playoff experience, but they are instead hungry for more.

Congrats to the Musketeers and best of luck in the WS.

Alas, Irish didn't have enough fight in them. Congrats Dave, good luck in the series.

Toronto looking like the chosen ones. Cured meats? No we have the CN Tower and strong beer, that's what got them here!
