If 2/3 of the owners vote yes, then the FRL will change from 6 games to 9 games per day.
If we go to 9 GPD, the season (including playoffs and off-season) will take exactly 3 weeks. We could switch it at a time that would allow the off-season to always fall on the weekend.

Before voting, do we have a sense as to when the first and last games would be played each day and how much time between games? Willy, thanks for commissioning this vote.

We could plan them however we want. I imagine we could add a couple in the morning. Maybe something like this:9:32, 10:32, 11:32
1:32, 2:32, 3:32
5:32, 6:32, 7:32
Then the playoffs:
9:32 (play in game if necessary)
10:32 game 1
11:32 game 2
1:32 game 3
2:32 game 4
3:32 game 5
5:32 game 6
7:32 game 7

Is it 2/3 of those voting by a certain date(?) or 2/3 of members(11 votes I guess)?

We need 2/3 of the owners that vote to be in favor of going to 9 GPD in order for us to make the switch. I hope to have the majority of league owners vote.

I should also mention that the cost for the next term will likely go up a little bit if we switch to 9 GPD.

Now we need to figure when this can be implemented. My guess would be after this term, but I'll contact admin to find out for sure.

Per the response I got from Admin in Support, we won't be changing the GPD to 9 until the end of the current term.

It should be done between terms. I believe your current term ends in 2077. Otherwise it would shorten the term, giving people less playing time for the amount paid.

it shortens the term but we're getting more games per day so i dont see how we'd be getting less for our money. Id rather pay $50 to play 162 games in 14 days then pay $50 to play 162 games in 162 days. Unless theres another reason admin doesn't want to implement it now, i dont see that as a reason we can't do it.

Basically the cost goes up per day. We paid up for 8 seasons, but if we changed the GPD, the money paid up so far wouldn't cover the rest of the term.

i know, im saying why cant he shorten the term to 6 seasons or whatever it would be if we all agreed?

I sent Admin a message to have the GPD increased to 9. I'm hoping that this will help us find some owners quickly.
