But in winning the WS, I wanted to acknowledge that owner, who had put in place the core of this team before I took over, three seasons ago.
Two A rated Starting Pitchers, a world-class Catcher, SS, 2B, and CF. And that owner drafted 3B/RF Fisher, a Power-Hitter who is only OS 22 whom I brought up in the last third of the season and who ended up as the Number 4 in the lineup vs RHP in what would be his "redshirt" season. And he won his first WS while contributing to wins in the LCS and WS.
For my part, I brought in a couple of quality SPs and rebuilt the everyday back-ups at every position, and established the strategy behind the team. But this championship belongs to that former owner, no doubt. So congrats!

Jbuss9999 according to the team records. He owned the team for 39 seasons. He was the Previous owners of the Houston Miners.
