Here is a current assessment of the current minor league evaluation for the WBL 2030 season (rating system has been updated TY)... Each team is somewhat analyzed by way of a rating number which was determine by prospects with options available only - not veterans. The rating reflects prospects who have no mentoring value, therefore, teams such as Montreal who only have two qualifying players, their numbers are less valued than those who carry all non-mentoring players. The number in parenthesis represents the number of qualifying players.






ATLANTA (12)
Minor league system has taken a step back, yet still carries talent inside the organization.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Denny Combs, Solid and capable of becoming a #1, still a few seasons away from the show

Top Position Player:
20 yr old OF George Heydon, Great future contact hitter, power is suspect with a below-average throwing arm

Rating 2.90 - Grade B-
LY = 3.20, B-



Brooklyn (18)
Owner has talent wasting away due to non-participation in the WBL.

Top Pitching Prospect:
24 yrs old RHP Tom Brunansky - throws 98-100 mph consistently, lacks control of the plate.

Top Position Player:
22 yrs old OF Roger Goletz - nice power to RF, can't hit RHP, needs to improve on defense overall

Rating 2.72, Grade B-
LY = 3.27, B



FLORIDA (14)
New Owner inherits a nice group of players under 25.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Bert Guardado, flame throwing bullpen specialist, ROY candidtate - HTP

Top Position Player:
18 yrs old SS Roger Mizerock, Power to all fields, top flight speed, could be the fastest player in the WBL already - HTP

Rating 2.63, Grade C+
LY = 2.90, C+



LOS ANGELES-n (8)
Very few players stand out, unsure what direction owner this is headed.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Rob Haford, WBL velocity and endurance, a bulldog on the mound, needs to improve control - TP

Top Position Player:
20 yrs old C Timothy Tipton, Nice contact hitter, yet struggles with power vs. RHP. Good throwing arm

Rating 2.83, Grade B-
LY = 3.16, B-



MILWAUKEE (15)
Still in search for that breakout player. OF prospects specialize in defense.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old LHP George Sheehan- Excellent control of the plate. severely lacks velocity and endurance - TP

Top Position Player:
26 yrs old OF Jim Kent - Country strong power to all fields, strikeout prone, excellent range on defense, arm is really weak .

Rating 2.97, Grade B
LY = 3.35, B



MONTREAL (4)
Mainly oversees pitching and catchers carrying mostly veterans.

Top Pitching Prospect:
21 yrs old RHP Beau Calzini - excellent control, already has WBL ring, system strives in high quality pitching - HTP

none

Rating 3.41, Grade B+
LY = 3.34, B



SAN DIEGO (15)
Risky business sporting so many youth.

Top Pitching Prospect:
21 yrs old RHP Salty Kilkenny - Superb velocity with above average control for player's age. Projected All-Star - HTP

Top Position Player:
22 yrs old 2B Jeff Fletcher - well rounded player projected with great power to all fields, needs to build up arm strength.

Rating 2.42, Grade C+
LY = 2.80, C+



ST. LOUIS (8)
Experience owner has well mixture of vets and high quality youth.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Charlie Scott - Super talent in waiting, WBL ready velocity, ROY Candidate - HTP

Top Position Player:
24 yrs old 2B Greg Miller, 5-tool player who continues to get better - TP

Rating 3.07, Grade B
LY = 3.18, B-













BALTIMORE (13)
With WBL vets creeping in age, youngsters need to develop at a faster pace.

Top Pitching Prospect:
25 yrs old LHP Gustavo Mo Carlton - Nice velocity and is ready for the WBL - HTP

Top Position Player:
19 yrs old 3B Freddie Vincent - Should be great defensively, needs to improve offensively, especially vs. LHP

Rating 2.88, Grade B-
LY = 3.12, B-



BOSTON (13)
A new crop of youth replaces the ones promoted to the show.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Buddy MacKenzie, solid future starter, still needs to get better at control - TP

Top Position Player:
18 yrs old OF Frank McLaughlin - Can hit RHP with a little pop, but needs to get better vs. LHP, excellent speed

Rating 2.50, Grade C+
LY = 2.96, B-



CHICAGO-a (12)
Seems to possess few future All-Stars each season in the minors.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Scotty Austin - WBL velocity with nice control, but injury prone - HTP

Top Position Player:
22 yrs old OF Frankie Peguero, WBL range already, lacks hitting power currently, development progress is climbing - TP

Rating 2.73, Grade B-
LY = 2.93, B-



DETROIT (9)
Well-rounded system, but no superstars.

Top Pitching Prospect:
23 yrs old RHP Harry Strohmayer- a true starter that will eat up innings, could be a great one - TP

Top Position Player:
24 yrs old 1B John Hentgen - Good contact vs. LHP, but lacks any exceptional skills

Rating 2.73, Grade B-

MINNESOTA (18)
New owner inherits a mess, too much youth.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old RHP Louis Tyner - nice velocity, subpar control. could be future closer - TP

Top Position Player:
21 yrs old SS Jermaine Incaviglia - Power hitter to all fields, excellent range, needs to getter at contact - HTP

Rating 2.74, Grade B-
LY = 2.91, B-



OAKLAND (12)
System has nice crop of pen specialist, needs to upgrade hitting prospects.

Top Pitching Prospect:
21 yrs old LHP Luka Aaron - Overall #1 pick in 2026, future closer - HTP

Top Position Player:
21 yrs old 1B Robert Young - Power on top of power, to go along with strikeout after strikeout. If can improve in contact, ...

Rating 2.67, Grade B-
LY = 2.61, C+



SEATTLE (11)
Bot takes over.

Top Pitching Prospect:
22 yrs old LHP Jeremiah Mammon - Supreme control already, lacks range on defense and average velocity - HTP

Top Position Player:
22 yrs old 2B Freddie Jurisich - Has plenty of valuable skills except range on defense (but should get much better), projected All-Star - HTP

Rating 2.75, Grade B-
LY = 3.01, B-



WASHINGTON (12)
Plethora of pitching talent but no superstars.

Top Pitching Prospect:
21 yrs old RHP Myrl Carey - nice command of the plate for his age - TP

Top Position Player:
2` yrs old OF Johnny Orme - Solid hitter vs. RHP, but lacks power, range is good but lacks srong arm - TP
